Cathal McGloin

CEO

A serial entrepreneur, Cathal has championed startup ventures in IT and Telecoms, including Performix Technologies which he founded, and Aran Technologies where he was President/VP Sales. He is an engineer with MBA with experience in USA, Europe, Ireland and UK markets. His previous enterprise IT career was with Siemens, Germany and Cap Gemini, UK. He is based in Boston.  

Ian Duffy

Chairman

Partner in the Corporate Finance division of RSM Farrell Grant Sparks, Ian is responsible for fundraising, M&A for clients in the tech & green sectors. Ian has 25+ yrs experience working with start-up, high growth & restructuring companies. He has extensive board experience & currently chairs several high growth companies. Ian has a B.E. from Trinity College, Dublin.      

Niall Olden

Kernel Capital

With extensive international business development experience, Niall has held a wide range of non executive directorships across general industry, technology and life science companies. He is Founder and Managing Partner of Kernel Capital and a Non Executive Director of associate company Seroba Kernel Life Sciences Ltd.  Niall has a BComm. from UCC and MSc International Business, Trinity College Dublin.

Damien Callaghan

Intel Capital

Damien joined Intel Capital in Ireland in 2000 after managing Intel's Intel Inside ® Program & Market Development for EMEA. A member of the Irish Government's Innovation Task Force, Damien also chairs the Advisory Board of Innovation Fund Ireland & holds several board positions. He is a graduate of Queen's University Belfast & London Polytechnic.

Debbie Rennick

ACT Venture Capital

A partner in ACT Venture Capital, one of Ireland’s leading VC firms, Debbie has extensive investment experience in software, healthcare, media, retail & hotel industries. Prior to ACT, Debbie specialized in strategic corporate advice, fund-raisings and M&As with KPMG Corporate Finance. She is a law graduate from University College Dublin and Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ireland.

David Summers

David’s past 10 years have been in private equity & venture capital, focused on telecoms, media & technology as MD at Doughty Hanson & Co and Operating Partner at Advent International. Previously he spent 30 years as a telecoms executive with various AT&T companies in the US and Europe. David holds positions on several boards of global tech companies.
