Company Introduction

FeedHenry is a spin-off from the famous, world class Telecommunications Software and Systems Group located in Ireland. Founded in 1996 by Dr. Willie Donnelly and with a turnover of over EUR 40 Million, staff includes: leading academics, professional managers and world class software, engineering and telecoms experts. The research centre is co-located with commercialisation in a unique Irish "IDEA Labs" style venture. FeedHenry leads the Telecoms 2.0 industry in providing cutting edge Web 2.0 and Mobile 2.0 solutions to Telecoms Operators.

Team

Barry Downes - CEO

Barry has over 16 years experience in the ICT and Telecoms industry. Prior to joining FeedHenry Barry was the CEO of Aceno Mobile Services Ltd. Barry is also an Executive Director of the TSSG and over the course of his career to date has held executive positions in product development in the USA, professional services in Europe, Internet and telecommunications research in the US and Europe, and has delivered multimillion Euro projects for some of the world's largest organisations. Barry holds an MBA from Smurfit (UCD) and a BSc. in Applied Computing from WIT.

Richard Rodger - CTO

Richard holds honors degrees in Mathematics and Philosophy from Trinity College Dublin, and Computer Science from Waterford Institute of Technology. He has worked previously as technical manager for an Internet consultancy firm, as CEO of the startup Ricebridge Software and as CTO of the TSSG spin-out IMS-Stream.

Paul Watson - Future Web Architect

Paul co-founded FeedHenry alongside Brian Delahunty and Barry Downes in late 2005. He moved to Ireland from South Africa for the project. Prior to this he was a web-developer at The Code Project which is the largest online Microsoft developer community, featuring 4million users and tens of thousands of articles. Before that Paul worked for The Bluegrass Group as lead developer and analyst. Paul has 8 years of experience in all things web with a primary focus on client-side technologies and information syndication technologies.

Fiona Haughney - Operations Manager

Fiona joined the FeedHenry team as Operations Manager in 2007. Prior to this she worked with Irish start-up Nubiq Ltd. a mobile solutions company as Projects and Operations Manager. Fiona has over 10 years experience in the Telecoms, encryption and smartcard industry working as Export Compliance Manager in Gemplus (now Gemalto) and CeloCom Ltd, where she implemented new processes across their UK and Irish sites. Fiona has worked across many trans-European projects and has held positions in the public relations and marketing sectors also.

Elaine Fennelly - Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Elaine holds a BSc. in Economics from the London School of Economics in the UK. Elaine has over 17 years finance experience and has held senior financial management positions at Intel, Bausch and Lomb, DMR Consulting (Fujitsu) and GlaxoSmithKline.
